01 Dez The Austrian Winter is here – Snow Volleyball Calendar to be announced soon
Temperatures are falling over the last weeks here in Austria and even the first snowflakes already touched the ground. Beside this fact, most of the Austrian winter resorts are also ready to open their slopes, which simultaneously means that Snow Volleyball Season is getting closer.
Even if last season`s circumstances weren`t the easiest, we managed to host three different Snow Volleyball events in Wagrain, including two CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour stops back-to-back, as well as the national Snow Volleyball championship. Unfortunately, it was not possible to welcome any spectators around the court. The safety and health of all parties involved was our main goal.
For the upcoming season, we would be more than thrilled to be able to welcome the whole Snow Volleyball community on and beside the court again. As Snow Volleyball is a non-contact outdoor sport and therefor all our venues are outdoor, there is a good chance for all of us, to watch Snow Volleyball live and onsite again this year. Do you already hear the crowd cheering, the beat dropping and ball smashing?
We are currently still in talks with our partners and venues to find a sensemaking way, how to deal with uncertain aspects along the planning process. However, is our intention to announce the dates of our Snow Volleyball tournaments still in 2021.
